Impact of Hotel Guests’ Trends to Recycle Food Waste to Obtain Bioenergy

Hotels face many issues related to food waste management, which is considered a serious environmental and socioeconomic issue in the 21st century. The improper disposal of causes greenhouse gases emissions, consequently badly affecting environment. This research aims measure impact customer trends changing pattern recycling into bioenergy relating hotel purposes contributing reducing energy costs Egypt. Two survey questionnaires were designed for managers guests, with 25 300 forms, respectively. results indicated that are highly willing recycle produce hence play an effective role preservation. Such alternative sources less expensive than conventional ones. study revealed guests’ intentions participate process preserving surrounding environment, as well their preferences stay hotels practicing operations. Limitations can be seen lack advertising such high cost staying green ecological hotels.
